Bulk CBC distillate is a concentrated form of cannabichromene, a minor cannabinoid found in hemp plants that is believed to have anti-inflammatory and potentially analgesic effects. It is also believed to have a synergistic effect on other cannabinoids when taken with them, what some call the “entourage effect.” Unlike THC CBC is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid but it may produce desirable pain-killing effects.
CBC is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid that may have anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and mood-enhancing properties. It interacts with both CB1 and CB2 receptors and is often found in conjunction with other cannabinoids in the cannabis plant.
What Makes CBC So Desirable?
CBC, a phytochemical, emerges in the cannabis plant. It enhances the effects of topicals, edibles and other consumer products. Along with that, CBC Isolate has been known to do a couple things. According to a study by the British Journal of Pharmacology in 2019, “The phytocannabinoid cannabichromene (CBC) has antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory effects in vitro and in vivo.” Vivo, meaning completed work within an entire living organism and vitro describing work “performed outside of a living organism.” (Source) An example: How bacteria reacts to its environment.
CBC, As a Selective CB2 Receptor.
The second thing it does according to the study, is that “CBC is a selective CB2 receptor agonist.” This means it helps “simulate” or “activate” that receptor. Why is this important? Well, to answer this you must understand the difference between CB1 and CB2 receptors. As a matter of fact, CB1 receptors situate in the brain and body while CB2 receptors situate mostly in the immune and gastrointestinal system (some in the brain as well). The table below (source) allows you to better understand how they function:

In short, there CB1 receptors have more to do with the physio-active side and CB2 have more to do with physical feeling like pain and inflammation.
CBC, As An Agonist
Since CBC is an agonist to the CB2 receptor and does not bond will with CB1, it is thought that it can help enhance other minor cannabinoids effects by blocking CB1 and enabling CB2. Moreover, lots of clients are using CBC to allow their combinations to absorb more fluently and effectively which gives the user a better and more immediate sensation. Though not backed by clinical research, the anecdotal evidence compels us to believe in the efficacy.
CBC Oil FAQs
Our Bulk CBC distillate is made by extracting cannabinoids from premium cannabis plants, purifying the oil, and then subjecting it to a distillation process to isolate cannabichromene (CBC). Rigorous testing ensures purity and safety before we pack it up and ship it directly to you.
Once you have taken your CBC Oil sublingually (under the tongue) you could potentially feel the effects of CBC very quickly. It depends on many factors such as the starting point of your body’s systems, as well as the concentration of CBC you’re using. The bottom line is that CBC Distillate may affect everyone a little differently and work gradually over time.
Our Wholesale CBC Oil has a slight earthy taste. However, it isn’t strong or overpowering. Here at Naturecan, we use organic MCT carrier oil (coconut oil) in our 10% CBC Oil which helps to offset any bitter taste.
We’re currently working with a number of suppliers to create various flavours for you to enjoy. However, we won’t compromise on the quality, purity or potency of our CBC Oils so these products are still under development.
Expertly extracted from the cannabis plant, before being purified and distilled, our isolate CBC is a quality raw plant ingredient. Only then do we combine it with pure organic MCT coconut carrier oil to improve bioavailability.
CBC oil stands for cannabichromene oil, which is derived from the cannabis plant. It is one of the many cannabinoids found in cannabis, similar to CBD (cannabidiol) and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). However, CBC oil specifically contains a higher concentration of cannabichromene. While CBD is known for its potential therapeutic properties, when CBC oil binds to these receptors, it may have potential anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects.
CBC oil is currently being explored for its potential benefits in various areas, including pain management. Research suggests that it may interact with receptors in the body’s endocannabinoid system, potentially influencing pain perception.
However, more studies are needed to fully understand its effectiveness and mechanisms of action.
Our Bulk CBC oil interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) by influencing the receptors in this system. The ECS plays a crucial role in maintaining homeostasis, regulating various processes such as mood, pain sensation, and immune function. CBC oil is believed to interact primarily with the CB2 receptors of the ECS, which are primarily found in the immune system.
Our Bulk CBC Distillate can be consumed directly by placing it under the tongue, mixed with food or drinks, vaporized (dab), or applied topically. All you need to do is start with a low dose and adjust gradually.
FAST FACTS ON CBC DISTILLATE
Distillates undergo refinement and processing to separate the cannabinoids, such as CBD and CBC, into distinct concentrations. They are created by decarboxylating and distilling cannabis extracts. CBC Distillate is a highly concentrated cannabis extract derived from hemp flowers and biomass.
CBC Distillate is non-psychoactive and, due to its anti-microbial properties, has been shown in preliminary research to be a potent acne inhibitor. It has shown promise in relieving pain for collagen-induced osteoarthritis. CBC is also the second most potent cannabinoid in preventing new cancer cell growth. CBC has been shown to maintain brain homeostasis. How so? CBC facilitates the growth of the human brain by increasing the viability of developing brain cells in a process known as neurogenesis.
Thus, CBC Distillate is a very safe cannabinoid extract. It is completely non-intoxicating and is not likely to induce any adverse side effects.
